Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is Comeback Coaching?
Comeback Coaching is a faith-based coaching group designed for Christian men who have faced major life setbacks, offering encouragement, community, and practical steps for restoration.
Who is this group for?
Christian men who have experienced setbacks such as personal failure, addiction, job loss, financial struggles, divorce, grief situations, or health crises.
How is this different from counseling or therapy?
Coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented, while therapy deals with deeper psychological issues and past trauma. This group is about rebuilding purpose and momentum.
How is this different from a recovery group?
Recovery groups (like 12-step programs) focus on addiction and long-term healing, whereas Comeback Coaching is about broader life restoration and personal growth in all areas.
Do I have to be a Christian to join?
While the group is designed for Christian men and is rooted in biblical principles, anyone open to a faith-based approach is welcome.

Spiritual & Theological FAQs
What is the biblical basis for this program?
The foundation is Micah 7:8-9:
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
When I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
The Lord will be a light to me.
I will bear the indignation of the Lord,
Because I have sinned against Him,
Until He pleads my case
And executes justice for me.
He will bring me forth to the light;
I will see His righteousness.
Also:
A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire;
He rages against all wise judgment (Proverbs 18:1).
Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty,
And before honor is humility (Proverbs 18:12).
The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness,
But who can bear a broken spirit? (Proverbs 18:14)
Does this program replace my church community?
No, it’s meant to supplement church involvement, not replace it.
What if I still struggle with my past mistakes?
The program encourages humility, repentance, and the power of God’s grace for a fresh start.
How do I know God has a comeback for me?
Scripture shows that God specializes in redemption—Moses, David, Peter, and Paul all had comebacks.
What if I’m not ready to share my struggles?
Vulnerability is encouraged but happens at your own pace. The community aspect helps build trust over time.
What if I haven’t had a recent traumatic or life-altering event, but want to “take my life to the next level?”
Come join us! The principles you learn and experiences you gain in this group will equip you to address future adversity, as well as equip you to potentially lead a Comeback Group in the future.
Can I invite others to join?
Absolutely! The group is open to any Christian man looking for restoration or renewal.
